PRESENTATION
For centuries it has been forbidden to needle the umbilicus except using the moxibustion, cupping or medicated plaster method known as “umbilical therapy”. Considering the good effects of this therapy, someone has tried to give needling through correct knowledge of anatomy and hygiene with security. Until now, there have been many schools of umbilical acupuncture because there are different topographical areas of the navel that can be needled.
The Lam’s Method of Umbilical Ring Acupuncture has given great importance to the umbilical labrum, the actual part of the umbilical ring and it is considered as an anatomical active organ serving as a nucleus center of the three germinal plates development during the embryonic stage. This is why in Chinese medicine it is known as "the door of life". The author had also discovered that it acts as the site of “mother system of meridians”. Furthermore, it is considered as a Taiqi in Yi Study. Taiqi is the nucleus from which all things in this world originated. According to the position of the Numerology Jiugong in Yi Study, it can also be described as an homunculus, a child-like image. This is why umbilical ring acupuncture becomes part of the Medicine Yi.
From 2007 up till now we have treated more than 5,100 patients with a general percentage of positive therapeutic results of over 90%. Patients appreciate this new technique with few needles and few treatments, obtaining rapid result in a comfortable way with security.
IMPORTANT FEATURES:
a) Apply very often one or two needles to cure numerous diseases/disturbances with specific protocols. There are neither traditional acupoints (except shenque) nor meridians available.
b) More safety: The penetration depth is much shallower than the traditional acupuncture.
c) It is a no pain technique with Lam’s Method of Penetration.
d) Therapeutic effect is often immediately for many diseases/disturbances.
e) There is an umbilical child-like figure for the cure of osteo-muscolo-articular disturbances and an Umbilical Ring Bagua for the cure of Zang-Fu diseases.
There is also an Umbilical Biological Clock for the cure of disturbances at specific hours as well as the seasonal diseases.
导言
几个世纪以来，除了使用“脐疗”的艾灸、拔罐、按摩或药贴方法外，针刺脐部是被禁止的。考虑到这种疗法的良好效果，有人曾尝试通过正确的解剖和卫生知识，进行安全的针刺法，直到目前，脐针疗法已经出现很多流派，因为肚脐有不同的部位均可以针刺。
林氏脐环针疗法非常重视脐唇的解剖部位，亦即脐环的实际部分，它被认为是解剖学上的活跃器官，亦是人体三层胚胎时期发育的核元中心，在中医学上它被称为“神阙”的原由。笔者还发现它是经络形成的母系统的发源地，与脏腑器官同时生长；此外，在易学中它被认为是一个太极，太极演化成八卦，那就是世界万物起源的核心；再根据易学九宫数的编次位置，它亦被描绘成犹如一个小孩般的形象。脐环针也因此而成为医易的一部分。
从2007年至今，我们已经治疗5,100多名患者，总体良性治疗效果比例超过90%。患者高兴接受这种新技术，只需数根针及数次治疗，就能够以舒适、安全的方式而获得快速满意结果。
特点提示：
1) 经常使用一、二个脐部穴位及特定的方案就能够缓解多种疾病。既不沿用传统的穴位（神阙除外），也不依据经络。
2) 更安全：刺入深度比传统针灸浅得多。
3) 仅用林氏无痛針刺法。
4) 对较多的疾病，通常有立竿见影的治疗效果。
5) 依据脐环小儿伏像图可治疗多种运动系疾病。依据脐环九宮图可治疗多种情志和脏腑疾病。

PROGRAMME OF THE CERTIFICATED INTERNATIONAL COURSE
BASIC LEVEL (2 day-course of 15 hours)
AIMS: To give all the trainees the chance to acquire this new and important technique with precise rules and protocols and to cure osteo-muscolo-articular disturbances e some other diseases in order to arrive a higher level of therapeutic result with more confidence.

5) Treatments: Osteo-musculo-articular disturbances: stiff neck, cervico-dorso-lumbo-spondylopathy, poliarthritis, periarthritis, arthritis reumatoide, tendinitis, lumbar pain with sciatica and arthrosis, headache, insomnia, anxiety and depression.
C. Clinical demonstration and practice
ADVANCED LEVEL (3 day-course of 25 hours)
AIMS: To deepen the study, to deepen the manipulation techniques putting more emphasis on clinical practices in order to acquire the ability to widen the spectrum of application, especially the disturbances derived from the visceral organs zang-fu as well as to score high quality in the research works for the benefit of human health.

目标：加深医易理论研究及其临床应用，以扩大治疗范围的能力，特别是针治脏腑病及情志病的干扰，从而取得较佳的临床治疗效果，造福人类健康。

1. Admission is reserved to practitioner in acupuncture o in TCM.
2. Date: Theory and Practice will be held for five consecutive days in the first week of April and October every year.
3. The languages available: Chinese or English.
4. There will be an issue of Certificate of Attendance for each participant.
5. Registration and tuition fees: (including didactic materials, certificate of attendance).
a) Group tuition: Euro1500/each (The class will be started with three persons. If the group comes from an association or a school, the fees will be halved.)
b) One to one tuition: Euro 2500 (If the participant is a head of an association, a school or a director of a department, the fees will be halved.)
